I have been married to Mike - my honey-man :) - for 21 years. We have one child, our son Sean. On February 25, 2007 Sean died from an ATV accident at the age of 17. Sean... the light of my life. The one person who truly loved me unconditionally, who taught me so much about life and love. I never realized the depth of love you could experience for another person, until Sean. For as long as I can remember I knew I wanted to be a mom, Sean far exceeded all of my expectations of what having a child would be like. Losing him is, by far, the most difficult thing I have ever been through or will ever go through. This has been the hardest year of my life. At times I wasn't sure I would survive, I didn't know how I could survive without Sean and truthfully, at times I didn't want to survive. But God is always faithful and was always there, at those times He cradled me in His loving arms. God has blessed me so greatly this year, pouring out His love onto me. I now look forward to seeing what He has in store for me. I long for the day when I will one day be with Sean in Heaven, but until then, I know God has great plans for me and I am excited about that!
